The latest address in a subnetwork.

For example an IP address having 32 addresses (30 devices) like 1.1.1.0 , 1.1.1.1 , 1.1.1.2 ....... the latest address is 1.1.1.31 which is the broadcast address.

The first address in the example 1.1.1.0 is the [[Network Address]].

Another example is : 192.39.4.0 / 22. In this network there are 1024 hosts meaning 1022 devices. 192.39.3.255 is the broadcast address of the previous subnet 192.39.7.255 is the broadcast address of the next subnet
